HI My name is Tina - actually my full name is Tiki Tiki Tina, and I am a Tenterfield Terrier - otherwise known as a mini-fox terrier. I wasn't fortunate to be born as a labrador or other breed that would be suitable as a guide /seeing eye dog - but oh well... I always wanted to do that sort of work...I really love and admire guide dogs!!
My "master" (I let him think he is my master - but I am REALLY the boss!) has a friend who has a daughter who is a pupil at the Burwood Blind School which is going to be closed down !
My master has asked me to invite all guide dog/seeing eye dogs EVERYWHERE to join me in campaigning for the creation of a new school to take over from the one that is being closed down at the end of school year 2009.
Lets all join up on FACEBOOK and let the Victorian Government and the world know that we will not rest until a new school has been created!
Go to Facebook - get your masters to help you put up a profile - maybe with a picture of you and your "master/mistress" and then join this essential cause!
It's that SIMPLE!!
Save the Education of Blind Children!!!!
lets join up and create some focus and momentum to create a new BLIND SCHOOL NOW!!
I call upon all guide dogs to put up a profile on facebook (like mine) and join me in campaigning for this most essential school.
The dog quickly became ubiquitous across culture across the world, and was extremely valuable to early human settlements. For instance, it is believed that the successful emigration across the Bering Strait might not have been possible without sled dogs.
