The "Coalition for Blind School NOW" is a group of parents, educators, supporters and concerned citizens who have committed to creating a new educational facility to take over the very valuable work being done by the Vision Australia school, that is being closed down at end of school year 2009

I heartily commend all efforts to re-establish a school specifically for blind children. In my training as a psychologist at University I did research into perception of children who had lost sight as against those who were born blind. How these tow groups perceived and experienced the world were quite different as we measured it in our research. Your reply to survey button was disabled in the e-mail to me so I am posting.
